Robin Williams Wife Reveals That he Was in Early Stages of Parkinsons Disease

I first knew him from Mork from Ork. He made me laugh and I was drawn to this show as a child. His warm spirit and since of humor simply took most of us away. Tragically, on Monday the 11th the comedian and actor took his life by way of strangulation. He first attempted to cut his wrist but when this did not work, he used a belt to hand himself.

He was know for struggling with addiction, anxiety, and depression. His wife gave a statement revealing that he was dealing with early stages of Parkinson's disease. Williams was secretly dealing with the disease and the wife speaks for the family stating that “It is our hope in the wake of Robin's tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid."

His passing has saddened me and I often find myself thinking about him and the level of pain that he must have been going through. Prayers are going up here and at this point I hope and pray that instead of judging him that people will pray for his family.
